Beechmast Boots

Next on my worktable - two pairs of Fairysteps Beechmast boots. These shown are oak and castagno from the archive, aren't they glorious!
The 'twins' I've cut are in a beautiful tundra colour, almost an olive tinged mid brown, in stunningly thick, yet supple leather. I think I shall have enough left to squeeze in a single pair of shoes, then its the last of this hide 😞
Size UK 6 / UK 7 have been marked and prepped ready for the stitching to begin. Hopefully all these updates are proving useful.

Golly, I can't even remember how long ago I made a Meg satchel - it's been an age! After a good rummage on my leather shelves I selected a 'hoarded' (did I just admit that?!) piece of rather lovely dark lavender.

So off I went with pen and paper and had a jolly good think and made a list, then crossed lots off, till it was all whittled down to a few.

Booting
Fairysteps Beechmast & Cobweb and Frond boot listings, as well as bags were open for a short time, but are now closed - I will be continuing with the small mountain of in-progress stock on my work tables, alongside the latest order batch.
